Pull up your cocktails and come join us for a virtual happy hour! We'll get to know each other a few nights before the event kicks off...we can talk about your businesses, ideas for your businesses or just about anything you want to. You may even have questions you'd like to throw out that we can address during the workshop.
We will even send you a recipe for our signature cocktail called "The Bootstrap" a few days before in case you want to join us in that fun.

"The Bootstrap" (aka rum & coke with lime & orange)
Recipe:
- 3 parts coke (regular, or if you are watching sugar intake feel free to use Diet Coke or Coke Zero)
- 1 part rum (I prefer light, but it can be dark as well)
- A squeeze of lime with wedge seated on side or thrown in for extra taste
- A dash of orange liqueur - (I rec patron Citronge for a middle of the road choice, to keep it extra "bootstrappy" use triple sec and if you're feeling spendy you can also use Cointreau or Grand Marnier)
Yum!
Rum is "bootstrappy" its significantly less expensive than vodka or tequila and we like that! Lime is well, a color that suits us well (see website for evidence of this) rum and coke is traditionally unisex - so no one has to feel too much of "something" drinking it rum is summery and baby its hot outside!
Extra Credit: If you pick a Haitian Rum such as Rhum Barbancourt (not as bootstrappy), but you get the added benefit of helping other entrepreneurs whose business suffered immensely during the recent tragic earthquake
And of course, if you aren't feeling in a rum & coke mood, feel free to pull up whatever cocktail you like!
